Whimsical Wednesday Weight Loss

So this Wednesday is an update on my weight loss. So I took the plunge and joined Weight Watchers. I need something to help me lose all the weight and WW seemed like the best option for me. So I have a grand total of 136lbs to lose and I'm down 4lbs so I'm at 132lbs. So my goal is to lose 70lbs by the second week in October (by the time I go to Florida so I can actually wear shock horror a bathing suit (without looking like Shamu's albino sister)

So the points system is allowing me to eat what I want and feel full and I find myself reaching for fruit now that used to be reaching for crisps, cheese and chocolate. So thats a good sign I think :)

So in order for me to keep on track I need to plan in advance! so heres my menu pointed and all ;)

Tasty Tuesday Salad Dressings

So this Tasty Tuesday is all about salad dressings! So Last week I joined Weight Watchers to try and shift the weight and have a better quality of life and so far its going good! So my problem with salad is I hate it lol no really I hate it unless its covered in dressing so it no longer tastes like salad. So I had to search the Internet for some Low Cal Salad Dressings so that I could have the salad and not eat a million calories in dressings :) So I found a few on cooks.com that I found delicious so without further ado here we go...

CREAMY LOW CALORIE SALAD DRESSING

May also be used on baked potato.

2 c. cottage cheese (1 lb.) carton
1 c. buttermilk
1 tbsp. lemon juice
2 tbsp. chopped parsley
1/2 tsp. salt or 3/4 tsp. season salt (add other flavors if desired, onion, garlic, celery, etc.)

Sieve cottage cheese or mix in blender until smooth and creamy. Stir in buttermilk, lemon juice, parsley and salt. Chill. Makes 3 cups. Calories: 1 tablespoon = 17 calories. Fat controlled diet: Negligible fat. Diabetic and Calorie Controlled diet: 2 tablespoons = free choice. Sodium controlled diet: prepared as directed, omitting salt, 1 tablespoon = 42 milligrams sodium.

FRENCH - STYLE LOW - CALORIE SALAD DRESSING

LOW CALORIE LEMON PAPRIKA SALAD
DRESSING

1 tsp. dry mustard
The juice of 4 lemons
1 tsp. paprika
2 tsp. minced parsley
1 tsp. chopped chives
1/2 tsp. oregano
1 tsp. salt
Shake of Tabasco sauce

Dissolve mustard in a little lemon juice by rubbing with back of spoon, then shake all ingredients in covered jar. Refrigerate and use on any salad or cold vegetables.

Things I Love Thursday My Friends

I have the most wonderful group of friends in the whole entire world. They support me, help me, make me laugh, make me cry, do random things to make me happy, cook for me, give the best hugs in the world, listen to me when I'm being moany, kick my ass when I need it and know me inside out. Ciarán gives the best hugs in the whole world and is the most kindhearted human being I've ever met. Jim never fails to make me smile and is so considerate, he tells the best jokes. Nicola own the other half of my brain lol we have so many similar interests and she gets me. Colin would do anything he could to help anybody out and is amazing. Kate is just awesomesauce all together, she is honest, kind and caring and doesn't know how awesome she is.

I would be lost without them I really really really would. I love them with all my heart and would take a bullet for any of them. I literally would not be able to live without having them there to support me. If any of you happen to be reading this I LOVE YOU.

Tasty Tuesday Walnut Brownies

So I found this recipe online last week and tried them and they are amazing. If anybody knows the site I got it on as I lost it let me know :)

Ingredients

Melted butter, for greasing
150g walnut halves
200g good-quality dark cooking
chocolate (like Plaistowe Cooking Chocolate), chopped
200g (1 cup, firmly packed)
brown sugar
125mls (1/2 cup) vegetable oil
3 eggs, at room temperature
1 tsp vanilla essence
75g (1/2 cup) plain flour
30g (1/4 cup) cocoa powder
1/2 tsp baking powder

Method

Preheat oven to 170°C. Brush a shallow 23cm square cake pan with the melted butter to lightly grease. Line the base with non-stick baking paper.
Spread walnuts on a baking tray and toast in preheated oven for 5-7 minutes or until lightly browned (see microwave tip 1). Cool and chop coarsely.
Meanwhile: place the chocolate in a medium heat-resistant bowl over a saucepan of simmering water and stir until melted and smooth (see microwave tip 2). Remove the bowl from the heat and set aside.
Combine the sugar, oil, eggs and vanilla in a medium mixing bowl. Use electric beaters to beat until well combined and paler in colour. Add the melted chocolate and beat until well combined.
Sift together flour, cocoa powder and baking powder over chocolate mixture and use a large metal spoon to fold in until combined. Fold in the walnuts.
Spoon mixture into prepared pan and smooth the surface. Bake in preheated oven for 35 minutes or until moist crumbs cling to a skewer inserted into the centre. Remove from oven and cool completely in pan. Turn onto a board, remove paper and cut into pieces.

These keep for up to a week but they won't last that long lol

Scrap Saturday (or lack thereof)

OK so scrapping really is not my forte at the moment. I am going through a lack of mojo that no kit/template/scrappers tools can get me out of. So I scrapped a total of one whole page this week! If anybody has any mojo tips for me feel free to share cause I think if I open Photoshop and close it without doing anything again it may refuse to open anymore. Things I Love Thursday

OK this Thursday I am going to be concentrating on some of my favourite books. So I LOVE to read but when I find a series or book I like I get totally engrossed and have to finish it nothing else in the world matters just finishing the book, I guess that's my addictive personality. I don't have a genre I read I like chicklit, young adult(think Hunger Games) and anyhting by Jodi Picoult. Here are my top 3 authors that I read over and over and over...

1. Author: J.K Rowling Fav Book: The Harry Potter Series
OK so ever since I read it in 1997 when I got "The Philosophers stone" for my 9th Birthday (wow that makes me feel old) I have been hooked on Harry Potter. I wanted to go to Hogwarts! But the other thing is a the books grew more mature so did I, its a series I grew up with and I absolutely adore. If you haven't read it you NEED to. That is all.

2. Author: Dan Brown Fav Book: Angels and Demons
I have read this book at least 20 times. I adore it. Most people are all about the Da Vinci Code when it comes to Dan Brown but personally I thought Angels and Demons was a million times better. I love the story with the secret societies, race against the clock, descriptive writing so that you feel like your in Italy. Worth a read most definetely. I liked the DaVinci Code but the hype ruined it for me and The Lost Symbol was good but a bit too much of the same story for me.

3. Author: Jodi Picoult Fav Book: Keeping Faith or 19 Minutes.
I love Jodi Picoult, I love her character development and the storylines and the detail in which she tells her stories. The suspense and build up and raw emotions. These books have made me cry and laugh and really think. I love them.

Other Authors I reccomend are:
Nicholas Sparks, Patricia Cornwell, Lesley Pearse, Dr. Seuss, C.S Lewis, Derek Landy, Suzanne Collins.

Whimsical Wednesday: Random Things That Make Me Happy

So this being the year of quality I have also decided to become more positive. I mean Pollyanna Positive as in annoyingly positive lol

So if you see me slipping up and being negative in the forums, on facebook, on twitter or here feel free to kick my ass!

Anyway on to today's post so its easy to be positive when your happy and I have decided to make my list of little things that make me happy. Not big things that cost a lot, but the things remember its the quality not the quantity.

1. When I get letters in the mail, yes snail mail, handwritten sent by post with a stamp.
2. Sleeping in a bed with new sheets.
3. Long drives with no real destination in mind.
4. Photograph outtakes they are usually the funniest.
5. Thumb wars with Ciaran.
6. When Jim randomly texts me with one of our jokes for no reason.
7. When Lil M tells me she loves me.
8. Big Squishy Hugs.
9. Curly Girl Design cards.
10. Bubbles.
11. Tiaras, wearing them, buying them for Lil M and Katie, anything to do with tiaras.
12. The number 76.
13. Singing in the car REALLY LOUD.
14. When a scrapper I admire or a designer I love comments in my gallery.
15. Glitter, sparkles, stars, glitter and more glitter.
16. Finding a new Bible quote that speaks to me as I read through my Bible reading plan.
17. Anything Disney.
18. Snuggles on the couch while watching a movie.
19. Converse hi tops.
20. Dancing, around the kitchen, teaching a class I love the freedom it gives me.

Ok so that's it. What are the little things that make you happy?

Tasty Tuesday Fabulous Baileys Irish Cheescake

So this is a favourite recipe in our house!
Its a traditional Irish recipe that we have made at home since I was small but I found this version online and its perfect. We have it for dessert all the time....

3.5oz unsalted butter
8.75oz Graham Crackers crushed.
1lb Philadelphia or another cream cheese.
1 Shot of Baileys Irish cream
3.5oz icing sugar
10.5oz double cream
2oz chocolate (milk, plain, dark whichever you like)

Melt the butter in a pan.
Add the crushed graham crackers and mix until the butter isabsorbed.
Remove from the heat and, while it is still warm, press the mixture (using the back of a spoon) into the bottom of a lined 23cm/9inch springform or flan tin.
Leave to set for one hour in the fridge.
While it is chilling, grate all the the chocolate and set aside in the fridge.
In a bowl, whip the cream until it forms peaks.
In a separate bowl, beat the cream cheese until it is soft.
Beat in the icing sugar and a shot of Baileys.
Fold in the whipped cream and three-quarters of the chocolate.
When the mixture is smooth, smooth it evenly onto the biscuit base.
Refridgerate and allow to set for at least two hours.
If you leave it overnight, so much the better.
To serve, remove from the tin and decorate.
You can either sprinkle the remaining grated chocolate over the top or add full chocolates to decorate.
You can also serve with a side of cream ot ice cream.

Whimsical Wednesday

OK so this post is entitled Whimsical Wednesday mainly because of two reasons, the alliteration and I love the word Whimsical :) I can't guarantee that every post will be Whimsical mostly just random ramblings but here goes...

Today I am going to talk about my resolutions.

My word for 2012 is Quality. I want to be able to have quality of life, quality time with my friends and family and quality in my work. So Quality is my word I'm meditating on and using it to get my butt into action this year.

So Quality of life:
I have given up smoking I know shock horror, I am eating healthy and I want to lost 6st in weight by the middle of 2013. I am getting more exercise and I will have a better quality of life. Only one takeout a week and at that I will order the healthiest thing on the menu.

Quality Time:
Have you ever felt like in order to spend quality time with your friends and family you need to spend money? If your not bringing the kids to the cinema or swimming or bowling then its not going to be fun? If your not going out to eat with your friends or going to a concert that its not fun? I have fallen into that trap and I'm not staying there anymore. Now I'm not talking about only doing things that are free, But I'm talking about quality time. A dinner party, a Wii Championship game night, a hike and picnic. Stuff that involves talking and spending time with each other.

Quality Work:
So when I say work I am talking about my profession as well as my hobbies. I will get the next pay level rise in work I am working towards it and hopefully will have it by March 2012.
Now ever feel like digiscrapping is a chore rather than a hobby? I'm there now so I am going to try and scrap one page every two days and make it some of my best work. I will work on my shadows and get the layering thing down. its a learning curve and I will work my butt off.

OK I think that's pretty much it!

Tasty Tuesday

Ok so heres a recipe I found online while I was in the mood to bake. Its from www.allrecipes.com and its submitted by a woman named Debbi Borsick and once you've tried them you will be amazed that you ever made them any other way lol

Ingredients

4 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking soda
2 cups butter, softened
1 1/2 cups packed brown sugar
1/2 cup white sugar
2 (3.4 ounce) packages instant vanilla pudding mix
4 eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
4 cups semisweet chocolate chips
2 cups chopped walnuts (optional)

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Sift together the flour and baking soda, set aside.

In a large bowl, cream together the butter, brown sugar, and white sugar. Beat in the instant pudding mix until blended. Stir in the eggs and vanilla. Blend in the flour mixture. Finally, stir in the chocolate chips and nuts. Drop cookies by rounded spoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets.
Bake for 10 to 12 minutes in the preheated oven. Edges should be golden brown.

OK so here's the deal,

I recently cleaned out my closets and I found Christmas gifts from last year that I have never used and never really wanted. Now please don't get me wrong, I appreciate that they took the time and the expense to make sure to get me a gift but am I a terrible person for saying that I would have rathered they didn't? or donated the money to a charity instead? We all feel the need to buy presents for everybody and for most people the bigger the expense the better.

I got so many bath sets that I could never possibly use them all unless I had a bath every monring and evening. I got a lot of chocolate and sweets which I really didn't need lol.

Which brings me to my new project. This Christmas I am going to try my hardest to MAKE the gifts for my nearest and dearest. I am going to make practical presents which makes me sound boring but by practical I mean tailored so that I know that they are going to like it. So I'm starting in September in hopes that I have enough time to get everything done. And below are some ideas that I have for gifts!

Sometimes Things Don't Work Out!

So there I was thinking I was smart.....

Last Thursday I looked at my schedule and thought hmmm OK I'm gonna be a bit busy so I wrote all my blog posts and scheduled them to post for the next week. Feeling pretty happy with myself I was! So you can imagine my surprise when today I came over to blog and saw that it hadn't been updated thinking I could have imagined the whole blog writing session of last week I went to check out what had happened.

Let me take you back to last Thursday..... I was working, I was also planning Lil M's Birthday which is in October, Ordering decorations for Halloween, Looking for easy patterns for Halloween costumes, Googling what events are on in the area in October when I have time off from work. All of which led me to believe yup you guessed it that it was in fact October. So I scheduled everything to post in October. So I decided to leave them there clearly they didn't want to be posted now.

Just reminds me that sometimes things don't work out the way you planned!

Travel Thursdays

OK so we travel to Orlando quite a bit due to the fact that we are Disney FANATICS :) So today I wanted to share with you this little gem of a hotel that we found and stay in all the time! The Rosen Inn at Pointe Orlando http://www.roseninn9000.com/ is on International drive and is in a great location. It is located across from Pointe Orlando which has a cinema, stores and restaurants. In each room there is 2 double beds with an extra 1 can be moved in on request. It also has a fridge and microwave which is a part that we love about the hotel. It has shuttles to most parks and also is right beside and iRide stop which will bring you anywhere you need to go along International Drive. In the hotel there are 3 pools, a playground, a sports bar, a restaurant, a games room, a gift shop and a deli. There are so great laundry facilities (which turned out great when we brought a 10 month old lol) There is complimentary wifi Internet throughout the hotel and each room is equipped with a safe. The location of this hotel, the facilities it provides and the general cleanliness and upkeep of the hotel is well worth the price of $119.00 per room per night that we paid for our upcomming vacation! So basically if you are thinking of going to Orlando any time soon I highly reccomend this hotel :)

Random Ramblings

So how is everybody? Today we are back to Scouts after a long summer break! I am so excited to get back and see what the kids have been up to over the summer. I have been thinking about our summer and what we got Done from our Summer Bucket List:

We went to see the new Harry Potter at midnight, I watched the sun rise over the Dublin Mountains and watched it set in the same day on the Wexford coast, Lil M tried Watermelon for the first time and loved it, We painted pretty pictures as well as ourselves (toddler covered all in paint), I successfully managed to scrap with every unused kit in my stash (this is now not true as I shopped A LOT at the GGG sale at Sweet Shoppe Designs lol), I made a summer play list that we have been rocking out to all summer, but most of all we had FUN, LOTS AND LOTS of fun! OK so we didn't get everything done, trying to get everybody together and their schedules just didn't really work out but we made a fair stab at it! So I am now adding these to our Autumn Bucket List. How did you get on this summer? Did you get to do everything you had planned?

OK so while I was searching through YouTube to find something to listen to I decided on my blog post for today! I'm sure you will have heard most of these songs but theres a YouTube video just in case you haven't :) These songs are guaranteed to put me in good humour no matter what mood I'm in before! I decided to keep it to a 6 maximum because I would never ever be able to stop if I didn't limit myself. I love music and it has a great influence on my life.

OK happy song Number 1: Better Than Revenge Taylor Swift.

This song makes me jump around singing at the top of my lungs looking like an idiot! I LOVE this song. Plus the fact that I'm a HUGE fan of Tay as well.

Number 2: One of the best bands of all time Queen with Don't Stop Me Now. Enough Said.

Number 3: Mr. Brightside By The Killers. This song reminds me of being in school and is another top of my lungs hit lol.

Number 4: Bon Jovi Living On A Prayer. I adore this song reminds me of being a kid and of my first ever road trip.

Number 5: My Life Would Suck Without You by Kelly Clarkson. This song reminds me of my friends and driving around on pointless journeys having the time of our lives lol I love my friends to death and this cheesy little number sums it up.

Number 5: Build Me Up Buttercup by The Foundations. Reminds me of being in Edinburgh when I was 12 on a dancing trip and we sung it every night before the show. Also reminds me of being in Wexford in the car with my friends all singing as loud as we could and the boys doing back up vocals for me and Nic.

Number 6: Walking On Sunshine/ Halo Mash Up From Glee. This makes me dance around I love it makes me so happy.

Pre School

So Lil M started Preschool yesterday and I can't help but feel a lil mushy about it. She was so excited and kept looking at her "MY School" booklet that was sent to her before she started. We walked down to drop her in and hung her coat on her little hanger and she went straight in, there wasn't even a moments hesitation. Her teachers are lovely and she went and started playing at the play dough table and didn't really bother to see where we were lol. We told her we were going and she then said "no stay and play with me" but I told her I couldn't and we would be back to pick her up she thought about it for all of 2 seconds and said OK and went over and started to paint. When I was walking away I had one of those cheesy musical montage moments running through my head of her as a baby (yes I know I'm a little bit crazy but oh well) and I felt a bit teary! She had a great day and when I went back to pick her up she didn't want to come home lol she kept saying "just 5 more minutes" in the end I had to bribe her with sweets to get her to come home she reallllly didn't want to leave, which I know is a really good sign. I am so glad that she got on well.But I'm hating the fact that shes old enough to go to preschool but I suppose its all part of her growing up (this does not make it any easier but it's what I've been telling myself)

OK so I'm going to share one of my most favourite recipes ever today. However I don't have a picture :( as much as I photograph nearly everything in my life food that I've cooked myself doesn't really seem to be one of them lol :)

You can also leave the marinade on overnight makes it sooo much better! Also try it with beef its scrumptious!

Random Ramblings

Hey Hey!

So anybody that knows me knows that I love to craft right? OK well here's the thing I love to digiscrap but I also love to make cards and hybrid projects but I never really seem to find the time to do both. So that's why I've decided that once a week I am going to put the laptop away and be Internet free for a WHOLE DAY I know shocking right? (Kate don't freak out now I'll call you, a whole day not speaking to you ain't possible lol)

So my first thing I'm going to try is a Pennant Banner. Not a big one just a nice little one to start off with. I have lots of fabrics around the house that were bought for one thing or another that never got used so they shall be my first thing to use! Its going to be a challenge as any time I do sewing projects I have to get my aunt to cut the material for me. Little known fact about me I can't kick a ball, walk, write or cut in a straight line I am seriously terrible when I paper craft my paper trimmers are my best friend :) So this is going to be my first all me from start to finish project so don't be expecting perfection. I hope to get it finished in my internet free night tomorrow! So I should have pictures by the weekend.

In other news I have been spending way too much time on Pinterest, I'm really picky about what I pin though so my boards tend to be empty! I also forget to pin so thats also a problem. But Pinterest just entices you in and you say OK I'm going to spend 10 mins looking at it and an hour later your still there cause you have found so much stuff you like! This Is Me on pinterest if you want to add me :) Its addicting so be warned! If you need an invite also please let me know :)

Books To Read

So as part of the Polka Dot Plum Book club we read "The Help" by Kathryn Stockett. Its is a novel about african american maids working for the white households in Mississippi during the 1960's.

It is told from 3 points of view. Aibileen Clark, a maid who has spent her life raising white children, and who has recently lost her only son. Minny Jackson, a maid whose head stong and sassy attitude usually gets her into trouble and Skeeter Phelan, a young, recent college graduate who has just moved back to Jackson.

The three narrators stories intertwine to paint a picture of what life was like in Jackson. It is a powerful story that will keep you enthralled until the last page. It will make you laugh out loud as well as cry and the characters are so relatable. I would highly reccomend this book to anybody.

I don't listen to audio books but have it on high reccomendation of my bestie Kate that this book is absolutely amazing when listened to! So if you don't like to read maybe the audio book would be for you!

Second thing is the baby that I have been calling Rocky since before she was born is finally here!

Baby Phoebe arrived on 21st August and weighed 7lbs 9oz and we love her to pieces!

Hey Everybody!

So I feel like all my posts recently have been CT work so today I'm blogging about something else. I would like to introduce you all to my Digi-Home its an amazing and wonderful site called Polka Dot Plum.

I started to CT for a designer that sold at Polka Dot Plum (going to be refered to as PDP from now on cause it feels weird using the whole title lol) so I joined up and posted an intro in the forum, I was shocked and surprised when I logged back in and saw such genuine welcoming replies, I was used to sites that would get the admin saying welcome and maybe one member replying to say welcome but that was it. At PDP you are instantly welcomed as part of the family. Theres no feeling like an outsider, everybody wants to get to know you and encourage you. The forum is pretty active and there are always great threads and deals of the week. Theres also a Friday night chat every week that is awesome. Its so much fun and really is a great couple of hours. Sometimes the chats are themed and there is always great prizes! Every month there is a wide range of challenges which you can earn points to get a coupon for up to 40% off the store. An Enchanted Evening With Taylor Swift!

Ok so anybody that knows me also knows that I am a HUGE Taylor Swift fan.

So last night I was lucky enough to have tickets to her sold out concert at the O2 in Dublin.

It was so totally amazing I cannot even begin to explain it!

I had such an awesome time it was mind blowingly incredible!

Here is a short clip of Better than Revenge its shaky as I was dancing lol

She is soooo much more amazing live, the video above and the ones on youtube do not do her justice!

The crowd was so energetic and the atmosphere was fantastic.

It was one of the best concerts I've ever been to!!!!

My favourite part of the concert was "Better Than Revenge" and "Enchanted" (her dress was AMAZING!!!) but I think one of the highlights was seeing Taylor's reaction to the crowd, she was genuinely shocked at the reception she received she just kept saying Thank You at one stage I thought she may cry lol I loved the way she played stuff from both albums and I loved the way during the concert she walked through the crowd. She is also so beautiful in real life in magazines when they airbrush you expect her to look perfect but last night she looked that way in real life. I could give you a list of reasons why I love Taylor Swift but I would be here til I'm 50 so I'm not going to!

So I didn't know what to blog about today so I used a blog prompt and the first one that came up was post a blog about a friend and so I would like to introduce you to a Fabulous person named Kate!

I became friends with Kate through a thread on Dig Shop Talk and she is a fabulous person.

She is kind, generous, creative, beautiful and always makes me smile :) We have so many interests in common from tv shows to music and we both love to digiscrap (so she totally understands my addiction! lol) She is a great writer and her blog is always interesting and fun you can check it out here http://www.kate-coleman.blogspot.com/

We are two crazy peas in a creative pod lol We recently sarted on the same CT for Jumbbumble Designs and her CT LO's are amazing! She is an amazing mother to one adorable little girl who is in most of her scrap pages! She is my best Digifriend :)

NATIONAL PYJAMA DAY

Ok so Friday the 25th is National Pyjama Day in aid of the Irish Hospice Foundation!

This collection will focus mainly on the Hospice Homecare for Children Programme.

National Pyjama Day has so far raised almost €2 million for children’s charities in Ireland and organisers hope to raise €350,000 this year for the IHF ‘Hospice Homecare for Children’ Programme, which will improve the currently inadequate services that are available to the 1,300 children with life‐ limiting conditions around the country.

I would urge you to help out this cause! Most families with sick children would prefer for their child to be cared for at home instead of in a hospital and this money will help train outreach nurses who can give these families the help they need in their hour of need.

Ok so I decided to write a list of everything I want to do before I die so here goes (the list was longer but I copleted some and took them off lol) Some things may be unachievable but hey a girl has to dream...

Go to Iceland to see the northern lights.
Own my own purpose built creche.
~~Actually watch every episode of lost from season 1.~~
Jog a marathon.
See the Taj Mahal.
Bring in New Years in Times Square.
Bring my mam to Australia.
Spend a night in the Cinderella Castle in Disney.
Write a letter to every person that's important to me.
Have Kids.
Go to Chicago for the St. Patricks Day Parade.
Convince kraft to start selling mac and cheese in Ireland.
Be in the audience at the Ellen show :)
Get married.
Have a pet pig.
Meet Taylor Swift.
Learn to design digiscrap Kits.
~~Actually complete and print a digi scrapbook that I am 100% happy with.~~
Get albums and frames for the million photos I have and that I have intended to organise into albums and put on the wall for way to long.
Go on a safari.
Do my best to make sure Lil M grows up happy.
Become a professional photographer.
Have a library in my house.
Adopt/foster a child.
Float in the dead sea.
Help find a cure for Alzheimer's.
Marry Shemar Moore (this would be one of thr dreams lol)
Dye my hair pink
Learn how to do a proper cartwheel.
Go to an olympic gymnastics competition.

Well thats it for now but I will be adding and crossing off from the list as I complete/think of new things I wana do.

Hey people so this is a non scrapbooking related post!

I know big shock lol But just thought I'd make this blog more of a personal/digiscrap blog :)

Ok so this post is about "My favourite Things" (inspired by a wonderful little girl who interviewed me about it last night)

5 of my FAVOURITE things...

1. My Family - I love my family more than anything in the world. I would literally take a bullet for any one of them. I come from a large extended family who are all quite close and we all grew up together. I have to give a special mention to my Mam. Shes an absolute angel. She always does whats best for me, it wasn't easy raising me on her own but she sacrificed everything to make sure I had everything I needed. I love her more than words can say. Now don't get me wrong were not like the Walton's we do fight and have moments when we want to kill each other but I love her more than anybody and I couldn't live without her.

2. My iPod - It is CONSTANTLY in my ears. I love music all types from classical to country to electro and jazz. I love every type of music. I can't go anywhere without my iPod its part of me lol. My favourite artist is Taylor Swift love her so much. I love all types of music and the ability it has to change my mood and make me feel such a wide range of emotions.

3. My Laptop - As you know I LOVE digiscrapping and without a laptop I wouldn't be able to. I have made friends online too (especially the dream team lol) and It allows me to contact friends and family in other countries which is one of the main things I love about it.

4. Dancing - I am that freaky kid who went to every dance class going and still would dance when I got home. I love it so much. I have been known to break it down in the middle of the supermarket, when out for a walk, on the bus well anywhere really (much to the embarrassment of people that are with me lol) I have made lifelong friends through dancing that I can trust with my life (Enya and Ashes) and I still dance now.

5. My Friends - I have a close group of friends that I love to pieces. I'm not going to mention them by name but they know who they are. They are always honest with me and we have such a good relationship. I can ring any of them and have a 3 hour conversation about absolutely nothing and still feel like it was one of the best conversations of my life lol. We go on random drives all the time (last one the car got locked in the car park and we were stranded lol) and we have a good time weather on a night out or sitting in watching DVD's. You know who you are and I'm a better person for knowing you.

Wow I'm Shocked!

I just watched the documentary "The Cove" and I am truely horrified! I can't believe those poor dolphins are slaughtered every year and that nothing is done to stop it! And they say that the dolphins are killed humanely!
