Things I Love Thursday

OK this Thursday I am going to be concentrating on some of my favourite books. So I LOVE to read but when I find a series or book I like I get totally engrossed and have to finish it nothing else in the world matters just finishing the book, I guess that's my addictive personality. I don't have a genre I read I like chicklit, young adult(think Hunger Games) and anyhting by Jodi Picoult. Here are my top 3 authors that I read over and over and over...

1. Author: J.K Rowling Fav Book: The Harry Potter Series
OK so ever since I read it in 1997 when I got "The Philosophers stone" for my 9th Birthday (wow that makes me feel old) I have been hooked on Harry Potter. I wanted to go to Hogwarts! But the other thing is a the books grew more mature so did I, its a series I grew up with and I absolutely adore. If you haven't read it you NEED to. That is all.

2. Author: Dan Brown Fav Book: Angels and Demons
I have read this book at least 20 times. I adore it. Most people are all about the Da Vinci Code when it comes to Dan Brown but personally I thought Angels and Demons was a million times better. I love the story with the secret societies, race against the clock, descriptive writing so that you feel like your in Italy. Worth a read most definetely. I liked the DaVinci Code but the hype ruined it for me and The Lost Symbol was good but a bit too much of the same story for me.

3. Author: Jodi Picoult Fav Book: Keeping Faith or 19 Minutes.
I love Jodi Picoult, I love her character development and the storylines and the detail in which she tells her stories. The suspense and build up and raw emotions. These books have made me cry and laugh and really think. I love them.

Nicholas Sparks, Patricia Cornwell, Lesley Pearse, Dr. Seuss, C.S Lewis, Derek Landy, Suzanne Collins.
